Hello
My name is Natasha Brazil. I’m the Acting President and Executive Director of A Different Perspective, a mother to a beautiful 5-year-old, a follower of Christ, a teacher, and a photographer.
I first started A Different Perspective back in 2016, but I knew I needed time to grow, learn, and seek God before fully stepping into it. Now at 37, my desire to walk in His will is stronger than ever.
I truly believe change starts early. When young people know who they are, whose they are, and what they stand against, it shapes everything. My heart is to serve, guide, and pour into the next generation—and to witness God move in their lives in a real and transformative way.

About A Different Perspective
A Different Perspective is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to guiding girls ages 10–18 through spiritual growth and stewardship across every area of their lives. Our mission is to help young girls discover their identity, walk in their purpose, and thrive in both their faith and their joy.
Rooted in biblical truth, we are committed to living and leading according to the standards of the Holy Bible. While many young people are told what to do and how to live, they are rarely shown how to walk it out. It’s easy to recognize a desire for change—but much harder to navigate the process without guidance.
Even as adults, many are still learning. Yet we often expect children—whose minds are still developing—to figure it out on their own, sometimes with missing pieces and limited support. In some cases, gaps in relationships between families and young girls can make that journey even more difficult.
A Different Perspective exists to help fill those gaps—partnering with families and supporting what schools may not fully address. We aim to guide the next generation in the way they should go while fostering stronger connections within the family.
Why This Matters
Research shows that approximately 20% of adolescents experience a mental health challenge each year, and nearly 50% of mental health issues begin by age 14. Many of these struggles are deeply connected to identity.
Scripture reminds us in Psalm 139 that God formed us intentionally and knows us completely. In Proverbs 4:23, we are instructed to guard our hearts and minds, for everything flows from them. In John 14:6, Jesus declares that He is the way, the truth, and the life—truth that does not change with circumstances.
Yet today, truth is often distorted, redefined, or rejected. We hear phrases like “my truth,” while confusion continues to grow. As Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Many are struggling—not because they lack potential, but because they lack truth about who they are.
