We’re currently seeking volunteers for event support, setup and breakdown, community outreach, donation coordination, and social media assistance. Every role—big or small—helps make a real impact.

Team Planning Session

🧠 Committees

Fundraising & Development

Purpose: Bring in money and resources
Duties:

  • Plan fundraising campaigns and events

  • Manage donor relationships

  • Oversee donation strategies (cash + wishlist like Amazon)

  • Identify grants and sponsorship opportunities

Marketing & Outreach Committee

Purpose: Get the word out and grow your audience
Duties:

  • Manage social media and website content

  • Promote events and campaigns

  • Create flyers, emails, and posts

  • Build community awareness and engagement​

Events Committee

Purpose: Plan and execute events smoothly
Duties:

  • Organize logistics (venue, schedule, supplies)

  • Coordinate volunteers for events

  • Handle setup and breakdown

  • Ensure a great attendee experience

🌸Mentors

Mentors play a vital role in guiding, supporting, and encouraging the girls in our program. This is a relational, consistent commitment focused on growth and trust.

Duties include:

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with assigned mentees

  • Help girls set, track, and achieve personal and academic goals

  • Meet twice per month during on-campus program hours

  • Provide consistent follow-up and accountability on goals and progress

  • Offer guidance, encouragement, and life wisdom

  • Support spiritual growth and faith-based conversations

  • Create a safe, respectful, and uplifting environment

  • Communicate any concerns or updates with program leaders

💡 Activity & Group Leaders

Leaders help create engaging, meaningful experiences that support emotional, mental, and spiritual development.

​

Duties include:

  • Lead or assist with mental health activities (deep breathing, journaling, reflection)

  • Facilitate group discussions and team-building exercises

  • Guide emotional wellness education and activities

  • Help organize and lead games and interactive sessions

  • Support and/or lead Bible study and spiritual development activities

  • Share encouragement, personal insights, and spiritual wisdom

  • Assist with field trips, events, and special activities

  • Ensure all activities are inclusive, engaging, and age-appropriate

📸 Event & Creative Support Volunteers

These roles help capture, promote, and bring each event to life behind the scenes.

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with:

  • Photographers

    • Capture high-quality photos during events and activities

    • Highlight special moments, interactions, and key experiences

    • Provide edited images for website and social media use

  • Set-Up & Break Down Team

    • Assist with preparing event spaces (tables, chairs, materials, décor)

    • Help organize supplies before and after events

    • Support efficient clean-up and reset of spaces

  • Speakers

    • Lead or participate in motivational talks and group sessions

    • Share personal experiences, life lessons, and encouragement

    • Support topics such as confidence, purpose, faith, mental and emotional health and personal growth

  • Social Media Manager (Events)

    • Capture and post live content during events (photos, short videos, updates)

    • Help promote events before and after they happen

    • Engage with the online community and highlight program impact
